This chapter explains how to integrate AWS Athena as an external data source with the Morph platform.

Setup Instructions

To configure the connection to AWS Athena, open the “Connections” tab on the home screen, then open the connection settings modal by clicking the “Create New Connection” button, and select Athena.

Connection Settings (Account)

This section explains the input fields required for the Account section. Enter the necessary connection settings below and click the Submit button in the bottom-right corner.

  1. Access key
    • Access key for your AWS account
  2. Secret key
    • Secret key for your AWS account
  3. Region
    • AWS region

Completing the Connection Settings

Once you’ve filled out the Account section and clicked the Submit button in the bottom-right corner, enter the Connection slug to complete the connection setup.

  1. Catalog
    • Data catalog name for AWS Athena
  2. Database
    • Database name for AWS Athena
  3. Work group
    • Work group name for AWS Athena

The setup is complete once the connection settings appear in the Connections list.
